Seriously, I could tell when he was about to throw lightning or charge at me from sound alone, and time my roll to the sound. Just stay locked on, so your camera is always positioned corrctly horizontally, and as for the vertical, back up from him a little and rely more on audio cues. So, I guess on top of what made the 2nd form so easy for you all, I'd more like to know why the first form was hard at all. Always kills in 2 hits almost without fail (I got 3 hit once, so that was nice), and he has incredible tracking and can always hit behind himself. Once he got on foot is when my problems with him started. On top of that, the bird had so low health that he died very quickly. His lightning throw was easy to dodge, and the bird's fire you could roll right through and charge for his head. They were always pretty easy to see coming and covered very narrow areas. None of the moves he had on his dragonbird ever hit me. I'm glad this is the last game, i can't imagine what kind of cheese they would cook up for DS4.
We have now entered GT territory in the Souls series. People expect more and more difficulty with each itteration, and all they can do is make the bosses more cheap and more spammy. Really limited moveset, hyperaggressive bloodborned boss, every hit does 500+ damage regardless of armor, spend 95% of the fight hitting dodge twice, poke, dodge twice, poke. + Endless stagger and knockdown abuse make most combos guaranteed death + NK "gets mad" at 50% life and adds massive lightning cheese to his attacks + NK endlessly spams a 1000+ damage 2 hit combo, first hit staggers, second hit guaranteed + NK often ignores shields completely, for not much reason other than to be h4rd + Dragon head bob and sway and 0 depth perception mean many missed swings and wasted time Originally posted by Clown Babby:+ Camera abuse like no other
